About the Course

At our institute, we offer a comprehensive curriculum known as “Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery” (MBBS), which falls under the purview of the Medical Council of India.

The MBBS course spans a duration of 4.5 years and is divided into three segments: pre-clinical, para-clinical, and clinical subjects. During the first year, students delve into pre-clinical subjects, namely anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry.

Moving on to the second year, students focus on para-clinical subjects, which include microbiology, pathology, pharmacology, as well as forensic medicine encompassing toxicology. Basic clinical subjects are also covered during this year.

The final two years of the course are dedicated to clinical subjects, where students gain practical knowledge and experience in real healthcare settings.

Upon successful completion of the curriculum, each student is required to undergo a compulsory one-year rotating internship, gaining exposure to different clinical specialties.

The degree awarded upon completion of the MBBS course is “Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.” To be eligible for this course, aspiring students must secure a minimum of 50% marks in physics, chemistry, biology, and English in their ’10+2′ examinations, as well as qualify in the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET).

The entrance examinations for this course, conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) from 2020, apply to both private and public universities across India.

The duration of the MBBS course, including the internship, is 4.5 years, and the institution is permitted by the Medical Council of India while being affiliated with the West Bengal University of Health & Science. Our annual intake for the MBBS Course is 150 students, providing aspiring medical professionals with excellent opportunities to pursue their passion and serve the community in the field of healthcare.
